Family Shabbat

Shabbat is celebrated every Friday morning with prayers, music, and Torah stories. Children connect with our clergy who teach faith-based values and traditions. At our weekly Sabbath celebration, we encourage children to understand the value of tzedakah (charity) and giving back to the community. Our contributions are donated yearly to a local charity. This year our tzedakah project is collecting funds to purchase indoor play equipment for Perea Preschool.

The first Friday of each month we celebrate Family Shabbat, when parents and families join with their child’s class to enjoy a quiet moment of prayer and song with our clergy. We invite grandparents and other family members to sing and pray together. Shabbat time is immediately after drop-off, 9:15 a.m., which makes the time convenient for parents and families.
