NAEYC Accreditation

IMG_7714.JPG

NAEYC's (National Association of Education for Young Children) national accreditation system sets reserach-based professional standards for early childhood education programs, allowing families to find high-quality programs for their children. Our program planning follows the ten standards recommended by NAEYC: Relationships, Curriculum, Teaching, Assessment of Child Progress, Health, Teachers, Families, Community Relationships, Physical Environment and Leadership/Management.  Director Jamie Baer serves as a consultant to local preschools in their pursuit of NAEYC accreditation. Faculty members recently attended and presented workshops at the NAEYC national conference in Dallas. Additionally, our faculty serves as mentors to preschools searching for improving classroom practice.
